Welcome to the homepage of the LinCS 2 Durham HIV Prevention project

(Linking Communities and Scientists to Durham HIV Prevention)!

LinCS 2 Durham brings Durham's Black community together with scientists to talk, listen, and learn about new ways to prevent HIV. What kind of research on HIV prevention should be done here in Durham? How can research go forward in the best possible way for our community? Your voice is important!

This Web site provides information about LinCS 2 Durham, other related projects and activities, and how you can get involved.

Help Set Goals for Durham County Health Programs

The Partnership for a Healthy Durham currently has scheduled six community listening sessions and they need you, your networks, and other community members to attend. Please attend to:

  • Hear about and discuss findings from the 2011 Community Health Assessment

  • Select the top health issues for Durham County

  • Eat! Free dinner will be provided

Session results will have a big impact on the Partnership’s priorities and several other organizations in Durham, so it’s critical that we get the word out!
